Today's selection is "Adam's Song" by Blink-182.
If you were in middle school in the late 90s or early 2000s (as I was) at some point Blink-182 was a part of your social conscience. The trio from San Diego is known for their juvenile humor to go with some impressive musicianship.
"Adam's Song" is a departure from some of the more childish themes of the band. Dealing with depression and suicide, I believe this track to be the band's magnum opus and a perfect anthem for Generation Y's depressed white youth.
Enjoy.

Today's selection is "Everlong" by the Foo Fighters.
The Foo Fighters are one of the best rock bands in the world, pure and simple. I can't think of a single person who has ever heard them and said, "You know what? Not for me." And I believe this track to be their crowning achievement.
Enjoy.

Today's selection is "The Ghost Inside" by Broken Bells.
The brain-child of James Mercer (of the Shins) and Danger Mouse, Broken Bells combine the ethereal tone of the Shins with Danger Mouse's beats and musical composition sensibilities.
The included video is not the official one for "The Ghost Inside" (found here), but an alternate one featuring the video for "Private Eyes" by Hall and Oates and Oates' mustache.
Enjoy.
