Today I give you "I'm the Man" by Joe Jackson. This is just some pure, rock 'n roll anger in music form. Despite being one of the weirdest-looking people in music, Jackson has assembled an impressive catalog and I believe this to be one of his crowning achievements.

Let's GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Maryland/(Kinda) Daily Good Music
Today I will be attending the University of Maryland Football Team's Bowl Game: The Military Bowl vs. East Carolina University at RFK Stadium in Washington, DC. While the Terps are no doubt disappointed in playing in DC when they were qualified to play in bowl games in Orlando and San Francisco and such, I'm sure the Terps will play hard. This is also the last game for Ralph Friedgen as head coach. He is being forced into retirement after this game, a move I don't totally understand as the fellow has had just one losing season while head coach. But if it is time to move on, then move on we shall. The real tragedy is that now there is no obvious choice to take up the mantle of "fattest" amongst head coaches in Division I college football. Alas, Fridge, we will miss you.
Below you will find Maryland's true fight song, brought to you by the fan base that made JJ Redick cry:

(Kinda) Daily Good Music
Today's piece of muzak is "The Beginning is Near" by the incomparable Reggie Watts. Watts is a human beat-box machine/hip hop artist/comedian/renaissance man. I heartily encourage you to check out all his other jams and comedy bits (including his recent appearance on Conan here).
Enjoy.
Enjoy.
